Lahore (Sports Reporter) The mandate of the PFF Normalization Committee has been extended till December 31, 2020. FIFA said in a letter to the PFF Normalization Committee that the Bureau of FIFA Council had decided to extend the mandate on May 14, 2020. The letter said the bureau had seen significant progress in various aspects of the PFF normalization committee and that the PFF now had a practical administration capable of running football activities.

It further said that COVID-19 has hampered the progress of the normalization committee and therefore it could not be expected that the PFF elections would be completed by the earlier mandate i.e. 15 June 2020.
